Available are 2 standard stop poles namely Ø76mm and Ø168mm. The length can be ordered at 1.20 meters and 1.45 meters.
Braille pole with Navilens QR code
The municipality of Roermond has equipped bus stops with Navilens information signs. People with a visual impairment have difficulty reading signage or information signs in public spaces. This makes it difficult for them to independently orient themselves and find their way in an unfamiliar environment. NAVILENS has come up with a solution for this. They developed a new accessible and universal QR code, with which people with a visual impairment can better orient themselves, navigate and have access to information in unfamiliar environments. The colored QR code can be scanned from a distance of 12 meters, so we can hear where we are. Roermond has the first in the Netherlands with the Navilens signs that have been placed on its bus platform.
